Bill's Story

The EE Internship was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I felt God’s tug on my heart to abandon my plans to go into law enforcement, even though I just received my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, and to go into full time vocational ministry. I didn’t know what my next step was. I was praying and asking God what he specifically wanted me to do since there are so many different ministries out there to spread the Gospel. I prayed specifically that he would send a godly man to tell me to go on a mission trip that would help me discover God’s call on my life. The next day God answered that prayer. He sent a staff member from the EE ministry to tell my wife and I about a 6 week internship in Fiji that we should check out. It didn’t take long for my wife and I to realize that we should go to it. God provided all of the finances needed to go on the trip in a short amount of time.

The time spent in Fiji was simply amazing. We were able to escape from the hectic lifestyle that we were living. We were able to just be present in the moment and wait on God to speak to us. We were able to engage in different EE training and shared the gospel with lots of people in Fiji. God did many miraculous things while we were there. It was simply amazing the number of divine appointments that we experienced. The community and fellowship with others that was on a similar journey was amazing. The different leaders that ran the program and people that were brought in to speak into our lives made such an impact. The best part of all was experiencing that moment where God made it clear that he wanted my wife and I to join in the work that God was doing through the ministry of EE International.

It has been a little over 4 years since we have gone on the internship. My wife and I could have never imagined all that God would accomplish through us from just being willing to say yes to his call to join EE. We joined EE USA as field staff in northern California and now are serving as the Xee coordinator for EE USA. God has allowed me to be a part of equipping and reaching people for Christ locally, nationally, and to unreached people groups globally. Just in these 4 years with EE we have been a part of equipping hundreds of pastors and ministry leaders from over a hundred churches. Just in our training events alone we have been a part of having the gospel shared over 600 times with more than 200 of them making a profession of faith in Christ. We serve a great and mighty God. My wife and I are forever grateful that he led us to the EE Fiji Internship in 2014!
